Using case study method, it involved analysis of the annual gender and development accomplishment reports of a national high school and utilization of GAD budgets and submission of accomplishment reports. An interview was also conducted with the GAD focal person to examine the issues relative to GAD implementation. Descriptive analysis was done with the data gathered from the document analysis while coding of the transcribed interview was done to interpret the responses. Results revealed that there are various gender issues reflected in the GAD accomplishment reports which included client-focused issues such as faction among students, discord, imbalanced representation during program and exhibition of talents and insufficient representation in the GAD committee. Organizationfocused included faction among teacher and employees, lack of organized individual needs, lack of awareness on gender sensitivity issues, and disunity among members. Causes of gender issues were bullying, disregard of for harmonious relationship, domineering attitude, lack of empowered members of LGBT community, lack of information dissemination, inequality among clients, and lack of cooperation. Meanwhile, activities undertaken were advocacy campaign, integration of GAD in lesson plans, holding basic gender sensitivity training and capacity building, and orienting members about GAD issues. Issues primarily addressed by the GAD committee were factions among students and personnel. It is recommended that regular monitoring and evaluation of GAD activities be done. More creative strategies should also be implemented to promote gender and development.
