Area of Research
Abstract
The study investigated the status of the implementation of the DepEd School-to-School Partnership (SSP) Program among leader and partner schools in selected school divisions of Region IV-A CALABARZON as basis for the sustainability of the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP). It employed a descriptive-comparative method of research with the questionnaire and interview protocol as the main tools. The respondents were the randomly chosen school administrators in the leader and partner schools. Frequency, weighted mean, and ANOVA were used as statistical tools.
Results revealed that the quality of implementation of the school-to-school partnership program as a continuous improvement project of the DepEd was excellent. Likewise, the quality of the SSP program as well as the status of the DepEd School-to-School Partnership Program in selected school divisions of Region IV-A CALABARZON were rated excellently as it enabled the sharing of best practices among schools and enhanced collaboration among them. However, it is recommended that the accountability system should be improved to ensure that management and structures and mechanisms are responsive to the emerging learning needs and demands of the community.
