The study focused on the content analysis of the Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) in English 8 for the school year 2018-2019. It sought to analyze the contents of the DLLs in terms of objectives and procedures and the most and least emphasized language arts domains based on the competencies indicated in the DLLs in English 8. Additionally, it aimed to determine the strong and weak points of the DLLs in terms of time allotment, topics selection, procedures, and reflections. The researcher utilized purposive sampling technique in selecting the sets of DLLs to be analyzed. Analyses of the contents were based on the Curriculum Guide for English particularly in the grade 8 level from quarters 1 to 3 and the Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson Preparation. Results showed that the teachers are not yet adept with the use of Daily Lesson Logs since most of the entries in the objectives and procedures part did not conform to the mandate of the Department of Education.
