A Modification Design of Low-Power FM Station of MSEUF

Completed2017

Abstract

Amidst the tidal wave of technology and innovation, the resilient culture of radio stations, both AM and FM alike, continuously surprises the entirety of media and mass communication. Manuel S. Enverga University foundation in Lucena City has formerly established its own noncommercial FM radio station called UR Enverga. It was unfortunate how UR Enverga faced overlapping problems which led to its disoperation. This study revitalized UR Enverga by redesigning and redeveloping its aging architecture. The researchers dug out and dusted off what remains of the former broadcast radio system, assessed its workability and remaining potentials, and designed a plan therewith. With demands to follow strict circumstances, the researchers took risks in improvising rational methods to highlight the best choice assemblage. Fortunate enough, the researchers produced a ready system which is a spitting image of the previous setup but with extra user-friendly features and allowance for further developments. A series of tests, surveys, and interviews were documented throughout the paper to supplement both the qualitative and the quantitative attributes of the research. The setup was assembled multiple times before installation to test its quality under sets of criteria. The outcomes were efficient and improvable in manners that concern both the designing and development plans of this research. The Mass Communication and Electronics Engineering students along with the populace of MSEUF may now enjoy their very own campus radio.
