A Design of 2km Route Plan of Water Pipeline in Brgy. Dapdap, Tayabas City

The Province of Quezon is rich in farm crops like rice field, vegetable crops and natural resources like springs, rivers and minerals. Tayabas is one of the provinces of Quezon that has enough natural source of water. This research study aimed to transport water from a source to a receiver particularly from Dao Spring of Brgy. Dapdap to an existing pipeline connecting to a reservoir in Brgy. Lalo. This was to help the citizens of the Barangay to have other source of water whereas this study focused on developing a route plan of water pipeline. This project study covered input-process-output wherein the researchers gathered the needed information, then the next process was designing of route survey plan, preparation of complete survey returns, of technical specifications, cost estimate of the project and the design of route survey plan. The output of this project study was the Design of 2km Route Plan of Water Pipeline in Brgy. Dapdap, Tayabas City. The researchers therefore concluded that the Route Plan has been designed and all of its components were based on the data gathered by the researchers; the complete data on distance and elevation or the line and grade; the technical specifications of the project study, cost estimate and program of works were prepared; and the route plan of water pipeline was prepared through site investigation and reconnaissance survey, traversing, plan preparation and design. The researchers recommended the future researchers to use Real Time Kinematic (RTK), Global Positioning Satellite (GPS), and more advanced software and to research more about the specific technical specifications, cost estimate and program of works, and to use smaller scale to emphasize more details in designing the route plan.
