LEVEL OF COMPETITIVENESS OF MSEUF CRIMINOLOGY GRADUATES IN THE PNP

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Level of Competitiveness of MSEUF Criminology Graduates in the PNP. The study is descriptive type of research, which employed content analysis to gather data. The study was conducted at the Regional Training School Camp Guillermo Nakar, Lucena City and Camp Vicente Lim, Canlubang Laguna. Fifty (5) respondents who were part of this study came from College of Criminology and Law Enforcement of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation. Percentage was used as statistical tool. Results revealed that according to the respondents the Level of Competitiveness of MSEUF Criminology Graduates in the PNP the total average mean of the respondents has shows their level of competitiveness in terms of communication skills, knowledge acquired, physical fitness and training and the strongest and weaknesses of the graduates during in the process of PNP Recruitment Program. It was revealed that the Criminology graduates have the same experience in terms of evaluation conducted by the PNP Evaluators/Officers to evaluate and selected those applicants who were desirable to be a police officer in the future. Also, the respondents were in the process of PNP Recruitment Program. The most effective plan that they do the graduates should review the communication skills so that their efficiency will be at its highest level every time. Trainings in written and oral communication should be granted to the Criminology graduates as well, so that misunderstanding will be avoided.
