AN ASSESSMENT OF MOBILE POLICE PATROL IN THE PREVENTION OF CRIME IN LUCBAN, QUEZON

In a community, the primary concern of local government officials and citizens is peace and order. The priority is the establishment of a police force entrusted with the basic responsibility of crime prevention they are aware of the police role to protect the community progress and stability. This task is the one responsibility of the patrol force of police organization. Patrol is the backbone of the police department. Police patrol officers are the most valuable people in the organization. Even those departments having specialized divisions, the patrol divisions are after the only one to work on a twenty-four hour basis. Keeping in mind the fact that the police patrol means service as well as protection, never hesitate to take the initiative when practicable to offer your services in whatever way is consistent with the purpose of law enforcement. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of police mobile patrol in the prevention of crime in Lucban, Quezon.
