Community Needs Assessment Study of Municipalities Along Tayabas Bay

The primary purpose of this study is to assess the community needs of the municipalities along the Tayabas Bay and to develop a proposed action plan in order to address the identified needs. This will be accomplished by conducting a series of focus group discussions and a survey that will be participated by community members, LGUs and other stakeholders. A survey of effectiveness of the existing programs and services in the municipalities along the Tayabas Bay will also be conducted to evaluate the development of services and programs within the community, community satisfaction with the existing programs and services, and the specific services or programs are needed to meet the needs of the community. The results of the study will be used to determine how well the needs of the municipalities along Tayabas Bay match with the services available, whether a new set of services is necessary to meet the needs of the community, and, in the case of existing services, whether there is a need to improve access to services or to increase the quality and quantity of services.
