Advertising Campaign for an Animated Independent Film: Babae

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the different creative techniques and style to promote a small budgeted film. The study may raise questions as to why a budgeted film should spend on advertisements despite the film's limited financial status. There are many ways to promote an independent film under a low budget but to make it effective the process of promotion has to double its creativity. In this study, the problem in promoting a budget film will be justified. Combining knowledge and skills in advertising will suffice in promoting a film with a low budget. There are two different advertising strategies that are used to promote the film, Babae. These two are the combined Traditional and Digital Advertising and the Guerrilla or Ambient Advertising. The two strategies will use the film's best asset which is the visual approach that is mostly new to people. The campaign, for this to be realized will be funded by several organizations.
