The Analysis of the Quality of Services and Facilities Given by the City Social Welfare and Development to the Rescued Children of Lucena City

This study aimed to analyze the Quality of Services and Facilities offered to the rescued children of Lucena City by the City Social Welfare and Development. This study would provide helpful information of what is the situation of the rescued children under the premises and responsibility of the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) in Lucena City in relation to R.A. 10630 known as the amended version of the “Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act.” It would determine the level of implementation of the services offered in the different sectors of CSWD specifically the Reception and Action Center for Boys, Girls’ Crisis Center and Youth in Conflict with the Law. It would also provide the problems encountered in giving services to the youth. Show the level of performance of the CSWD employees towards the rescued children under their premises. And lastly the impacts of the given services and the quality of facilities given to the rescued children. The study was conducted at Brgy. Iyam, Lucena City and Brgy. Zaballero, Lucena City with a total of 81 respondents including the officials and staff of the City Social And Welfare Development, the rescued children and the youth in conflict with the law. There is a high level of implementation regarding the procedures and protocol that the employees follow to maintain the wellness and well-being of the children. And there are lesser problems encountered for the CSWD employees were organized and systematized, but still some conflicts occur. The CSWD employees was able to perform very well in doing their jobs and responsibilities, that enables the rescued children to be influenced in a better way and was transformed in becoming a socially accepted good person in our society. In the light of findings the researcher would recommend to always keep the organizations and other people concerned to the subject of the study to always support, donate, and give hope the rescued children.
