Level of Participation of the LGBT Community to the Philippine Politics

This study is focused on the level of participation of the LGBT in the Philippine politics in terms of political activities. Gathered legit information to begin the study and it would support my study afterwards. A descriptive survey research and a quantitative type of research is used and a questionnaire to be the research instrument have used. The level of participation of the LGBT is base on their point of view and currently LGBT is one of the issues that is raising here in our country. The participation of the LGBT in terms of attending seminars and caucus; participating in Decision-making and communicating through social media to express their reaction. Findings revealed that most of them are not fully participating in any political activities but they understand what political activities are and what it can do to help fight their freedom of expression. The participation of the LGBT are not that high, they participate in some terms but I think mostly of them just doesn’t want to join the activities, but rather they openly express their opinions and reactions when they feel that it is right and it is in the right place to be argued.
