Abstract

Mary Rose A. Albor, Allyssa M. Almacen, Ronnel Gerson J. de los Reyes, and Adeline O. Vianka Sy. "A Design Of A Five – Storey Green Hospital?. Unpublished Project Study for the Degree Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, March 2015. Circles of opportunities can be found at the province of Quezon, as it powerhouses an amount of offers in agriculture and industry. Although with the rapid growth of appeals, Quezon faces counter-productive backfires due to the rise of technology. Harmful effects, such as pollutions, creeps in slowly and now becoming a serious problem to the field of environment. The study aims to provide a locale with efficient and reliable medical service and aims to protect the natural setbacks of the environment. The study contributes to the great pool of knowledge and promotion of green engineering. The study concentrates on the design of Five - Storey green hospital based on design codes, standards and specification required in the structure components with all possible combination of the proposed structural design computation of the proposed structure using Ultimate Strength Design, National Building Code of the Philippines (2010 version), National Structural Code of the Philippines, ACI (318-11) Codes, and existing laws and regulations of Mauban Engineering Office. Using simple costing method in estimating the quantity of materials and computing all the necessary materials and equipment used based on the current price and rate of labor and considering the activities to be done, the researchers arrive to the probable cost of the Green Hospital to be 247 937 023.00 pesos.
