Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effect of using the Ranking Task Exercises in Physics (RTEPs) as an assessment tool on the students’ conceptual understanding in selected topics in physics. The Ranking Task Exercises in Physics (RTEPs) is a research-based curriculum material developed by O’Kuma, Maloney and Hieggelke (2000) that give the students an opportunity to collaborate with their peers and to validate the depth and extent of what they have learned.
