Abstract

The study focused on the design of an upgraded assembly factory in line with the world standards. The aesthetics of the building was based on the corporate philosophy of the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation with its interiors provided with a highly efficient circulation area and the use of passive cooling. The use of sustainable products, materials and systems both from local and foreign sources were selected in response to the principles of Green Architecture through Sustainable Design that aims to be eco-friendly and energy-efficient. In addition, the implementation of new design strategies and analysis on existing car manufacturing companies were undertaken. Through this process, the new car assembly factory is intended to be an economic resource and as a step to further industrial development
