Abstract

, The focus of this study is the establishment of the country’s national university at the Bonifacio Global City with its bid to bring its professional schools closer to the central business district where they are needed by various industries. The faculty will initially include a UP Open University Learning Center and selected UPD units: the College of law, the College of Business Administration, the College of Engineering and the School of Statistics. In addition, the facility is also expected to accommodate continuing education programs of other UP units and extend the University’s reach in responding to the demand for quality graduate education in specialized fields by offering select academic programs in a facility close to their target clientele. To come up with a complete design solution the following factors are considered: 1. Location 2. Data gathering as provided by key persons in the fields of architecture and engineering. 3. Data gathering that focuses on design solution 4. Site Development 5. Design solution 6. Structural analysis
