Abstract
The proposed Tayabas General Hospital which is to be located at Barangay Calumpang, Tayabas City is a level two (2) government hospital. A hospital, according to the National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096) belongs to an institutional type of occupancy. It is classified under the Group D buildings, Division 2. The researcher developed this project to provide a solution to the City of Tayabas. The need for a level 2 government general hospital to provide the community with preventive and diagnostic services set in a therapeutic environment will be its main functions. Therefore, the proposed Tayabas General Hospital is developed with complete quality healthcare facilities that conform to the current building guidelines and standards. This will warrant safety not only for people who will be using it but as well as to the environment
