PREPARATIONS AND CONTRIBUTORY ATTRIBUTES OF BOARD PASSER IN PASSING THE CRIMINOLOGIST LICENSURE EXAM

Abstract

The study sought to delve into the experiences of board passers of the Criminology Licensure Examinations and identified practices in preparations and contributory attributes in passing the licensure exams. It was limited to the responses of the board passers from the last three to five years, purposively chosen and traced to gather the relevant information that is beneficial in arriving at the expected desire of the study which is for the Criminology Department of the Enverga University to continue producing board passers for the Criminology Licensure Examinations. A pure descriptive quantitative method of research was undertaken utilizing a guided questionnaire in the gathering of information. A pure descriptive quantitative method of research design was used since the researchers wished to describe and specifically identify the important practices that have contributed to the success of the respondents. Data analysis was done through quantitative statistical measures. The study led to the formulation of a review program to ensure passing and increase the possibility of producing board passers.
