Exploring Motorists' Understanding of Rights at PNP Checkpoints in Lucena City

Abstract
The study explored motorists' understanding of rights and regulations at PNP checkpoints in Lucena City, assessing common infractions and the impact of this understanding on compliance with traffic laws. The research aimed to enhance safety and order by evaluating motorists' knowledge and infractions. The Findings indicated that a significant number of motorists were unaware of their rights and regulations, leading to frequent violations. Recommendations included targeted educational programs to improve awareness and compliance, ultimately fostering a more law-abiding community . The study's insights contribute to the development of strategies for better interactions between motorists and law enforcement, promoting a culture of respect and cooperation.
