GAD Design of Banahaw Technological College Inc. (BTCI) Multi-Purpose Covered Court

Abstract
The increasing number of students enrolled in educational institutions has created the need for adequeate facilities that provide a bigger space for different activities. However, Banahaw Technological College Inc. (BTCI) lacks a more functional facility. Resulting in a decrease in the participation of the students in extracurricular activities. This institution is located in Barangay Manasa, Lucban, Quezon, unfortunately, the province has a frequent rainy weather condition which hinder students from doing outdoor activities.
The study focuses on the design of a multi-purpose covered court to provide a bigger and more functional facility. The study also include Gender and Development (GAD) concept to address gender-related issues, to ensure equal treatment for women, men, PWD, Children, and LGBTQ+. With the use of GAD rating system, the proposed study is concluded to be gender-responsive. The structure has a lot area of 465 sq.m.
The scope of the are limited to architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing plan, technical specifications, bill of materials, cost estimate, and program of works. The estimated cost of the multi-purpose covered court construction is P 22,917,146.24. The total number of working days from starting days from start to finish of the construction of the project is approximately 154 days.The following codes and standards are followed codes and standards are followed such as the NSCP, HGSG, and NBCP.
