Role of Women Civic Organizations in Community Development

The researchers aimed to make a compilation of the accredited women civic organizations in the province that would serve as a reference and resource material about women empowerment focusing on the impact on the lives of its beneficiaries. The study utilized a qualitative approach in obtaining information concerning the women civic organizations and their role in community development. It also described the nature and purpose of these women civic organizations in determining their role. Researchers conducted surveys and individual interviews in gathering the data. Data obtained from the different offices of the women civic organizations were listed and interpreted. Through focus group discussions, the researchers identified and recognized the women civic organizations in Quezon Province that played a major role in the community development. The final output of this project is a Compilation of the accredited women civic organizations in Quezon province.
