Abstract

This study investigated the performance management and leadership role of school heads and teachers in public elementary schools of Polillo islands Municipalities in Quezon. Using descriptive research, the study utilized school heads and teachers as respondents. it was conducted in the Polillo Island Municipalities as part of the First Congressional District in Quezon. Complete enumeration was done in the study as all school heads in Pollilo Island were part of the study and Simple random sampling was also done in part of teachers as respondents of the study. Frequency, Percentage, Weighted Mean and Analysis of Variance were used as statistical tools in analyzing data. The study contributes to our understanding of the attitudes and priorities of the attitudes and priorities of educators regarding their capability and development and underscores the significance of fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth in the field of education. The findings can inform educational policymakers and stakeholders in designing effective professional development programs and initiatives that address the specific needs and aspirations of teachers and school heads, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes for students. The study recommends the utilization of the managing final output to address more concerns on how the school heads and teachers performed their management and leadership roles are being practiced.
