Abstract

This study aims to tailor teaching strategies for elementary students to optimize mathematics performance and develop strategic teaching in mathematics. The study encompasses diverse aspects, including teacher profiles, specific teaching strategies. It also explores teachers' perspectives on dominant learning cognitive modalities and their impact on student performance. Employing a quantitative approach with descriptive, comparative, and correlational analyses, the study focuses on elementary teachers in the Districts of Mulanay and San Francisco. Findings reveal teachers' various teaching strategies, including modeling, explicit teaching, contextualization, collaborative learning, and game-based approaches. These strategies cater to different learning styles, fostering engagement and enhancing understanding. Significant correlations between tailored teaching strategies and student preferences indicate the adatability and effectiveness of various instructional approaches. Based on the conclusions drawn, recommendations are provided to enhance mathematics education, emphasizing gender quality initiatives, culturally responsive teaching, personalized learning paths, positive reinforcement, peer tutoring programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration . Implementing these recommendations can create inclusive and effective mathematics learning environments, ensuring positive learning outcomes and academic success for all students.
