Effectiveness of National Task Force-End Local Communist Armed Conflict in Lessening Terrorist Activities in Bondoc Peninsula as an Assessment

Abstract
One of the longest-running armed confrontations in history has existed in the
Philippines for more than 50 years. The study wanted to know the effectiveness of
the National Task Force-End Local Communist Armed Conflict in lessening terrorist
activities in the Bondoc Peninsula. This study utilized a quantitative design to better
describe the experiences of the respondents living in the area, using a purposive
sampling technique. The researchers identified the reason for the insurgency, which
is “The government’s plan did not take into account the best interests of every
Filipino.” Through the interpreted data, the researchers designed an action to
enhance the program implemented to increase awareness about the occurrence of
armed conflict.
