12 TO 24-HOUR SCHEME TOUR OF DUTY AMONG POLICE PERSONNEL IN PAGBILAO, QUEZON

Abstract
This study sought to determine the 12 to 24- hour scheme tour duty among police personnel in Pagbilao, Quezon. A police officer can perform his role successfully if he knows how to execute his task effectively and efficiently. The main objective of this study was to determine the competencies of duties among police officers, the capacity of organization and coordination, and the responsibilities in their duties. This study sought to determine the respondent's profile in terms of name, age, sex, and civil status and sought also to answer the survey questionnaire method and used a patterned questionnaire as the main data gathering instrument that was distributed through face-to-face surveys. This study used a quantitative descriptive type of research to conduct research. There was thirty (30) selected police personnel of Pagbilao, Quezon, and twenty (20) residents of Pagbilao who served as the target respondents of the study. A survey questionnaire was utilized as an instrument to gather data for the study. Frequency and percentage were also applied as statistical treatments. Afterward, the researcher found out that most of the respondents are 18-25 years old, and male. The assessment revealed that most of the respondents strongly agreed that the 12 to 24-hour scope of duty is very helpful in establishing order and safety in the community. Based on the findings, the researcher recommends that police personnel should provide proper law enforcement and render their duty 24/7 for the community's safety and security
