Evaluation of Illegal Anti-Drug Operations During the Duterte Administration in Tayabas City

The Phillipines is one of the countries which are affected by illegal drugs. The drug issue continues to threaten the security of the global community. The Word Drug Report 2017 estimated that almost a quarter of a billion people, or around 5 percent of the global adult population, used drugs at least once in 2015. This was launched as part of the campaign to warn drug traffickers and users to stop using drugs.This study aims to determine the effectiveness and evaluation of illegal anti-drug operations during the Duterte administration in the City of Tayabas. This study will utilize the descriptive normative research design. This design described the profile of the respondents; the level of effectiveness of Illegal Anti-Drugs Operation During the Duterte Administration, the present status of drug surrenders resulting from the implementation of illegal anti-drugs operations, The crime situation of the drug-reported incidents, and the degree of seriousness of the problems regarding the implementation of illegal anti-drugs operation, Respondents of the study will be the PNP Persennnel of Tayabas Police Station and selected residentsof the identified community of the City of Tayabas using the random sampling method . The main instrument to gather the needed data will be a questionnaire. The questionnaire will consist of five parts. The data was tabulated and analyzed using descriptive statistics frequency counts and percentages. The effectiveness and evaluation of the illegal anti-drugs operation were analyzed using the Likert scale.
