ANALYSIS OF THE SECURITY MEASURES IMPLEMENTED IN TRINET FACILITIES: BASIS FOR ITS IMPROVEMENT
Area of Research
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the weaknesses of the physical security management system as a result of a lack of resources required to perform the security task, as well as how to implement corrective action. The study utilized quantitative research through a descriptive-evaluate design which is the systematic assessment of the value of resources and time committed to a project, product, or specific goal. A stratified sampling was utilized in the research to select respondents. Results of the study showed that in terms of access, digital surveillance, and physical surveillance, the TriNet facilities' implemented security measures were highly effective. Key entry, biometric security controls, and surveillance for security breaches in restricted areas were identified as the most effective measures. Meanwhile, Since roving guards were stationed at many facilities, some facilities were left unguarded and the majority of incidents occurred during surveillance hours.
