Abstract

The study aimed to explore the lived experiences of Psychology Professionals in handling job in the law enforcement. Similarly, this sought to discover the experiences of psychology professionals in the field of law enforcement relating to job satisfaction, work adjustment, sources of stress, and coping mechanisms/strategis. The study also identified the experiences that made them stay in the law enforcement profession which is outside of their field of expertise. in the early section of the study, the researcher tackled the background about psychology professionals in the field of law enforcement and theories that can support the foundation of this study. The participants chosen for this study utilized a phenomenological qualitataive research approach to have a phenomenological insight into the roles of psychology professionals in the field of law enforcement. Also, This study utilized a phenomenological qualitative research approach to have a phenomenological insight into the roles of psychology professionals in the field of law enforcement. the researcher used a structured interview with the research participants to gather data that sought the general and specific aims of the research. The results and discussion of the interviews was extracted from the original transcript and put into codes. The extracted answers from the interview were interpreted and explained through Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis and put into summary of themes. The conclusions were derived from the results of this study on the experiences of Psychology professionals in the field of law enforcement in Job Handling described.While the recommendations were addressed to the following significance and target audience of the study.
