Level of Awareness of Solo Parent Employees in the Local Government Unit of Lucena on R.A 11861

Abstract
the research focused on the Perception of selected solo parent employees with regard to Republic Act No. 11861 or the Solo Parent Welfare Act. Specifically,the study determined the demographic profile of the respondents toward the benefits provided by Republic Act No. 11861, and their level of satisfaction to it.
This study is a descriptive-quantitative research and complete enumeration was used on choosing the 50 solo parent employees. The research instrument used for this study is a self-made questionnaire that was adminitered through online. The collected data was analyzed using a descriptive statistic, specifically the weighted arithmetic mean.
The results revealed that majority of those who participated in the study are ages 42 above. Moreover, majority of the solo parents employed at the Municipality of Lucena city are college graduates. Furthermore. mostly of the solo parents are unmarried who separated with their partnet because of their own choice. Additionally, the level of awareness of solo parents with regard to the benefits provided by RA 11861 is at very aware. Lastly. the level of satisfaction of the solo Parents with regard to the benefits provided by RA 11861 is at satisfied.
