DISASTER RISKS MANAGEMENT PLANS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF QUEZON, QUEZON

The research focused on the disaster risks management plans of the local government unit of Quezon, Quezon. The purpose of this research is to try to measure the effectiveness of the disaster prevention and mitigation plan, the disaster preparedness plan, disaster response, and the disaster rehabilitation and recovery plans of the local government unit following the catastrophe. This study is quantitative, and the researcher used random sampling to select respondents. This ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in the data-gathering process and that the selection process is fair. To collect the necessary data, the researcher physically visited each barangay to hand the questionnaire to the barangay captains to facilitate its distribution to the Quezon, Quezon residents. The study concluded that the disaster risk management plans of the local government unit of Quezon are effectively and consistently implemented in the municipality.
