FROM TED TALK TO TIKTOK: INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL COMMUNICATION ON STUDENTS’ CAREER ASPIRATIONS AS PERCEIVED BY FOURTH YEAR MSEUF STUDENTS

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of digital communication platforms such as TED Talk and TikTok on the career aspirations of the fourth-year students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF). It specifically sought to determine level of exposure to TikTok and TED Talk as a form of digital communication level of awareness on the influence of TikTok and TED Talks as form of digital communication on their career aspirations the perceived influence of TED Talk and TikTok as a form of digital communication on the career aspirations of the respondents. Using the descriptive survey method, 100 fourth-year students Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation will be purposively selected from the locale. The questionnaire was administered online to gather data for the study. Frequency, percentage, and weighted mean were used as statistical treatment.
