ACCOUNTING PRACTICE AND BUSINESS GROWTH OF START-UP MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN LUCENA CITY

Abstract
The study was conducted to analyze the relationship between accounting practice
and the business growth of start-up medium-sized enterprises in Lucena City through a
survey of 60 respondents. The study used quantitative and qualitative research
approaches and utilized descriptive-correlational. Respondents were selected through
purposive sampling to select the respondents who knew business growth and accounting
practice. Using the proper and appropriate technique and treatment of percentage
method, weighted mean, and standard deviation the data was collected, tallied, and
analyzed. Through this data, it was concluded that they are a significant relationship
between accounting practice and business growth.
