FACTORS ATTRIBUTED TO THE ISSUES AND CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED BY TEACHERS OF BURDEOS DISTRICT IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING

Abstract
This study analyzed the factors attributed to the issues and challenges
encountered by teachers of Burdeos District in the implementation of Modular
Distance Learning. A total of 100 teacher respondents from the public elementary
and secondary schools of Burdeos, Quezon participated in this study. This study
used quantitative method of research particularly Descriptive to identify the factors.
Survey questionnaire was the main data gathering instrument of this study wherein
the figures were analyzed through Percentage, Weighted Average Mean, and Chisquare Test of Independence.
The findings of this study revealed that there is no significant relationship
between the profile of the respondents and the perceived issues/challenges
encountered in the implementation of the modular distance learning.
Recommendations of the study can help the teachers, school administrators, and
other authorities in equipping themselves with knowledge and skills on Modular
Distance Learning. Additionally, the results of this study served as the bases for
designing an enhancement program for teachers.
