Completed2022

Abstract

Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) is a PNP Project intended to organize a youth movement that promotes and fosters the youth's aptitude in suppressing the illegal drug and terrorism issue in the community and the whole country. In line with this, the study aimed to explore the level of awareness of the out-of-school youths on KKDAT or Kabataan Kontra Droga at the Terrorism Campaign. The researchers utilized quantitative methods, specifically, descriptive research design. The Raosoft method was used to identify the number of sample sizes from a population. Snowball sampling was used to gather participants from all 33 barangays of Lucena City. The study involved 12 respondents in each barangay, with a total of 396 respondents who were surveyed. Survey questionnaires were distributed and collected. The data gathered were statistically treated and analyzed. The results showed that the respondents are not well-acquainted with the programs and campaigns of KKDAT, but they are aware of the disadvantages they are facing because of this. Further, they either agree or disagree on whether terrorism is helpful to society or not, but agree on the involvement of youthMANUEL S.
