Area of Research
Abstract
This paper focused on prevalence of juvenile offenders during the pandemic in
order to come up with a proposed newly improved tips and implementation for the better
knowledge and awareness of the juveniles as well as the respondents for the welfare of
Lucena City and hoping that it may also help other areas. This paper aimed to identify the
factors that caused the juveniles to offend the law and what methods were used to aid
the problem. The researchers employed a descriptive design using stratified sampling
technique in the selected areas of Lucena City. Through this, the results were strongly
agreed by the respondents in terms of the juvenile offending crimes such as theft, drug
commitment, unnecessary travels and etc. As per the PNP Personnel regarding the problems encountered in addressing juvenile offending, the researchers proposed to
recommend a seminar or counselling as well to the PNP Personnel to heighten their
