NEGATIVE PUBLIC PERCEPTION OF PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE PERSONNEL AFFECTING HUMAN RELATIONS

Abstract
The study's main objective is to find out the negative public perceptions of the Philippine
National Police Personnel that affect human relations in Lucena City. The study is
generally was conducted to evaluate the negative public perception of police personnel. In
conducting the study, a quantitative method is utilized in quantifying the results. Moreover,
the researchers used the descriptive form in depicting and analysis of the possible
collected data. The primary respondents selected community members from the area
through stratified random sampling, where fifty (50) respondents from the community
member of Lucena City, research setting were chosen. Furthermore, its goal is to measure
the level of negative public perception of police personnel. Relatively, relevant data for this
study was gathered using a self-created questionnaire developed by the researchers. The
Likert Scale is used to measure the research capability of fifty (50) respondents.
