Abstract
This research aims to determine the impact of cyberbullying through social media
upon Criminology students in Manuel S. Enverga's students and the effectiveness of
Cybercrime Law in the emerging numbers of cyberbullying on social media among
criminology students in MSEUF Lucena City. Cyberbullying has become a big concern
with the rising usage of the internet and social networking sites among the student
population. Studies have shown cyberbullying to induce mental health problems in victims,
leaving them feeling lonely, unhappy, and rejected. This study aimed to learn about the
experiences of college students bullied online and the effects. The researchers will
conduct quantitative questions to gather information. The results will be analyzed
quantitatively using descriptive statistics and independent tests. According to the research,
MSEUF College Students who have been cyberbullied may have negative emotional
effects such as despair, helplessness and hopelessness, frustration, and low self-esteem.
The findings of this investigation will determine whether it is too risky for the victim students and the school. The major goal of this research is to see how successful
cybercrime law is.
