Abstract

According to 2019 DTI figures, Lucena City has approximately 6,000 registered firms, 80% of which are microbusinesses and SMEs (SMEs). This means Business & Entertainment are growing in Lucena. Arts and Crafts Products of Quezon will be the doorway to local trade for micro and small businesses. Investors, buyers, artists, wood carvers, and suppliers must showcase Quezonians' products, and venues. The economy of Lucena is classified as a Highly Urbanized City it is a suitable place for the development of the proposed and will serve as a bridge to promote the Quezon within the Quezon. This research discussed the planning and designing of a proposed project in Lucena City to incorporate sustainable eco-friendly. This study seeks to deepen the purpose of built environments by strengthening their connections and will create a building inspiration which is biophilic architecture in the proposed project with useful facilities, space, and accessibility. The researcher collected qualitative data through documentation. The proposed site is located in Barangay Bocohan, Lucena City, where the businesses, services, and number of tourists are growing. This paves the way for the province's other local towns and municipalities to benefit and to give the opportunities, as well as for the city to become the next hub of development for the people such as artisans, artists, investors, wood carvers, suppliers buyers and sellers from Quezon Province not only for those people who loves to create but for those people who would like to buy and sell arts and handicrafts.
