Challenges Encountered by Grade 7 Teachers in Teaching Araling Asyano Using Active Learning in Online Classes

Abstract
The teaching-learning process has always been a concern of Araling Asyano
teachers on how to deliver the learning objectives and recently these were the
challenges encountered by grade 7 teachers and on how to make teaching more
effective and for optimum learning during online classes since education in the
Philippines is now on the third year of Pandemic crisis. This study shed light on the four
purposes. First, it aimed to know the demographic profile of the respondents. Second, to
know the frequency of using active learning strategies utilized by grade 7 teachers in
teaching Araling Asyano in online classes. Third, to determine the challenges
encountered by grade 7 teachers in teaching Araling Asyano in online classes, and lastly,
it aimed to gauge the significant difference in challenges encountered by grade 7
teachers when they are grouped according to profile.
This paper was a quantitative research and the respondents in this study were the
selected grade 7 private Araling Asyano teachers in Lucena City. It used a sampling
method in selecting respondents and a questionnaire as a main data gathering tool
