Abstract

Self-efficacy and leadership capabilities are among the skills that are crucial in the maritime industry and other chosen careers. Effective leadership involves a strong sense of selfefficacy because it allows a person to have the courage to take risks, make choices, and inspire others. High self-efficacy people are typically more capable of handling the stresses and challenges that come with leadership, such as dealing with tough team members or having to make difficult decisions. Thus, self-efficacy and leadership abilities are crucial. Individuals with high self-efficacy and high leadership capabilities are skilled at inspiring and motivating viewers, overcoming difficulties and failures, and achieving goals.
