READINESS OF FOURTH CLASS MARITIME STUDENT OF COLLEGE OF MARITIME EDUCATION OF MANUEL S. ENVERGA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION FOR THE BATTALION FORMATION

Abstract

This study is conducted to determine the Readiness of Fourth-Class Maritime Students in the College of Maritime Education of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation for the Battalion Formation. Readiness for the battalion formation will contribute information to this study among the fourth-class maritime student for their future employment and to determine the level of their readiness, the reason for their involvement, and the contribution of the Battalion Formation to their life as maritime students. The data was gathered through questionnaires using the descriptive survey method with a total of 154 population of fourth-class maritime students and 80 respondents of this study are selected randomly form the locale. As a result of this study, the fourth-class maritime student has a high level of readiness in battalion formation. Of the 154 total population of the fourth class maritime student enrolled this semester with the selected 80 total respondents, the high level of readiness of the fourth class maritime student indicates that the respondents are prepared to perform such activities that included in the battalion formation. The researcher recommends that the Fourth class Maritime students must be aware of the effects after performing the battalion formation and the College of Maritime Education should have medics. The Fourth class maritime students should help themselves to maintain their physical strength to perform activities and last long in the battalion formation.
