Development of a Blockchain-enabled E-Certificate Issuance and Verification System
Area of Research
Abstract
Some university clinics still rely on traditional pen and paper in gathering protected
health information (PHI) from their students, faculty, and employees. It can be difficult to
accommodate thousands of papers, files, and reports. Managing large paper records and
files can be difficult and manually storing information is time-consuming. The main
objective of this project is to develop a web and mobile application which can be utilized
by medical staff in a university for ease of access and management of employees' and
students protected health information (PHI). The requirement of the project was to be able
to test the functionalities of the system and to be able to design and develop the web and
mobile application. The system used Kanban methodology as it gives visibility and
enhancement when it manages software. As for the beneficiaries of the project, they should
be able to experience the functionalities that are implemented in the system. As the results
of the evaluation gathered and based on the ISO 25010, the performance efficiency has the
highest result based on the evaluation.
