Development of a Blockchain-enabled E-Certificate Issuance and Verification System

Certificates are part of personal information that verifies that the holder has completed the academic requirements. It projects valid proof for credentials that verifies the holder's legitimacy and competence, which improves their prospects. The project was conducted to develop a system to consolidate the creation and administration of certificates and to develop an e-Certificate generator with the enablement of blockchain for webinars in the project. The system includes specialized programming tools to develop the software, the inclusion of the Scrum methodology for the development plan, and also testing procedures such as functional testing to monitor the performance of this project. Results show that the system can validate the implementation and use of blockchain technology and evaluated using the ISO 25010 criteria resulting in an average of 4.40 as strongly agreeing following to the system standards.
