Impact of TikTok's Sexual Content on the Behavior of Netizens

TikTok has a strong artificial intelligence technology that has enabled it to create a unique experience among its consumers. Users of the Tiktok app may express themselves through singing, dancing, comedy, and lip-syncing, and it allows them to produce and share videos with others. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of awareness of participants about the sexual content videos on TikTok. The researcher used a quantitative research method to measure the level of awareness of the respondents. The participants of study were conducted with a total of hundred (100) respondents randomly selected in Barangay Cotta Lucena City. It can be concluded that the effects of TikTok's sexual content have a negative impact on the behavior of netizens. By using surveys and questionnaires, the researchers were able to determine the level of awareness of the netizens. The result showed stating that the users can show people that they are comfortable with themselves using the Tiktok application. Having that, various users are commenting offensive and vulgar words which hurt others' feelings.
