STUDY ON THE CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED BY LICENSED CRIMINOLOGISTS IN APPLYING TO THE TRI-BUREAU

Abstract
Criminologists play an important role in the criminal justice system. They conduct research, teach and work with various law enforcement agencies. The objective of this study was to inform licensed criminologists about the possible challenges they might encounter while applying to Tri-Bureau and the possible solutions that will help and strengthen their willingness to pursue their preferred job. The study used a descriptive method design and involved gathering information about the current situation of the study's subjects; this approach describes what exists. The researchers conducted the study on fifty (50) respondents in Lucena City. The researchers chose Lucena City as a location because this has the highest population of graduates from the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation. The Licensed Criminologist tends to apply in the Tri-bureau. They encounter challenges during the process of application which makes as one of the hindrances before their employment.
