A Four Storey Environmental Friendly Multi- Purpose School Building

Completed2016

Abstract

The protection of the environment has become a global issue that is essentially vital to address. Global warming and climate change are big problems that the earth has stumbled upon and the demand for more resilient buildings is important to ensure the safety of the people. This project study aims to develop a structure that will use standards for environmentally friendly building construction and accommodation for facilities. Through research and inspection, the researchers had found out that there is a need to reconsider the use of environmentally friendly building designs. From the result of the conducted research, the researchers primarily chose the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation because of the needs of its community for more convenient and larger facilities along with the aspects of environmentally-friendly design. The proponents yearned for developing the multi-purpose building to renovate several facilities and ensure students and employees maximum availability during important assemblies. The four-storey environmentally-friendly multi-purpose school building is composed of upgraded and new facilities designated on each floor with their own general functions which will serve its purpose of handling multiple activities in one place. There are various specifications that the researchers followed such as the NSCP and USD to keep track of the terms to be met for the accomplishment of the project.
