SATISFACTION LEVEL OF COLLEGE OF MARITIME EDUCATION STUDENTS ON THEIR ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORMS

Abstract

The online educational learning platform has become a useful and practical tool for curriculum delivery worldwide. The researchers aim to study the satisfaction level of students in CALABARZON-College of Maritime Education on their online education platforms to further improve online education. The primary objective of this research is to investigate the level of satisfaction of College of Maritime Education students with their online education. The definition of the satisfaction level of CME students on their online educational platforms has a complex and multidimensional structure that includes many factors such as student participation in discussion, communication, and technological aid, learning environment in which it is the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of students on the online education. This study used a descriptive research design and stratified random sampling technique to study the satisfaction level of students in the CME department on their online educational platforms. The result of the study in terms of the accessibility and reliability of online educational platforms were satisfied with the general weighted mean of 3.17. The result of the study in terms of online educational platforms' effectiveness was effective with a general weighted mean of 3.05.
