Abstract

This study aimed to shed light on the 360 Degree Look at Cryptocurrency as Perceived by Generation Z and Millennials. The lack of research and public understanding of the benefits and drawbacks prompted the researcher to investigate this study. The study determined the perception and level of the intention of Generation Z and Millennial respondents in investing in cryptocurrency. The major intent of this study was to evaluate the 360 Degree Look at Cryptocurrency as perceived by selected respondents which was the basis for developing a crypto-investment guide. After thorough analysis, data gathering procedures resulted in the following findings: the prevalence of using cryptocurrencies depended on one element, namely an individual's level of education which meant that a significant difference existed in the level of intention to invest among the educational attainment of the respondents. College graduates possessed a higher level of intention to invest than high school graduates. Financial knowledge and financial behavior were positively related to the advantages of cryptocurrency. On the other hand, financial knowledge and financial skills were positively related to the disadvantages of cryptocurrency. Likewise, the financial attitude was positively related to the awareness of cryptocurrency among Generation Z and Millennials. Obtaining knowledge relevant to gain a deeper understanding of this area was vital not just for the government and the province of Quezon, for Generation Z and Millennial individuals, professionals, and investors but for the economy as a whole.
