Area of Research
Abstract
The study is enclosed towards the design of a food processing center with the
intent of growing people towards inclusive and sustainable development. This project
also aimed to achieve the ideal nutrition through space and design. This would help
produce innovated agricultural crops into products that would help the living of the
people in the locality and would help end the malnutrition. This project would
strengthen the farmer’s folk organization through production enhancement for their
livelihood and would be a support to the involved agencies here in Quezon
(Philippine News Agency; July 31, 2018).
The project in terms of design would be applied with sustainable architecture
which is ideal for today. According to Garofalo (n.d.), buildings that are built with
sustainable architecture aims to limit their environmental impact. Its objective is to
achieve energy efficiency, positive impacts on health, comfort, and liveability for the
users which all of that can be achieved through implementing appropriate
technologies for the building. The project in terms of location was set in the
municipality of Unisan specifically in Brgy. F. De Jesus. This locality’s economy
according to PhilAtlas mainly depends on agriculture and it can help sustain itself
from its agricultural crops and improve its economy through innovating food for a
