Abstract

The study is enclosed towards the design of a food processing center with the intent of growing people towards inclusive and sustainable development. This project also aimed to achieve the ideal nutrition through space and design. This would help produce innovated agricultural crops into products that would help the living of the people in the locality and would help end the malnutrition. This project would strengthen the farmer’s folk organization through production enhancement for their livelihood and would be a support to the involved agencies here in Quezon (Philippine News Agency; July 31, 2018). The project in terms of design would be applied with sustainable architecture which is ideal for today. According to Garofalo (n.d.), buildings that are built with sustainable architecture aims to limit their environmental impact. Its objective is to achieve energy efficiency, positive impacts on health, comfort, and liveability for the users which all of that can be achieved through implementing appropriate technologies for the building. The project in terms of location was set in the municipality of Unisan specifically in Brgy. F. De Jesus. This locality’s economy according to PhilAtlas mainly depends on agriculture and it can help sustain itself from its agricultural crops and improve its economy through innovating food for a healthier community.
