WATERSPORTS COMPLEX AND RECREATIONAL CENTER

This research proposal is envisioned to provide consistent information that can sustain the architectural scheme, A Proposed Watersports Complex and Recreational Center. This study will provide methods that can respond to emerging water-related sports and other recreational activities by means of architectural solutions that will be produced and conceptualized through comprehensive research. This research is concentrated on the architectural design and planning which contains a site development, site planning and analysis of the facilities that could accommodate the increasing tourist of Batangas for having white sand beaches and various hotel and resorts to relish. However, the facility for this sort of activity is not sufficient to lead us to the growth of sports tourism, particularly in Watersports. Since the Philippines is an archipelago and is surrounded by bodies of water this will help draw the locals and even foreign people to different water-based activities through architectural design. The Municipality of San Juan in Batangas was selected as the proposed location for the project. Being already a tourist spot destination, it will be easier for the project to be recognized by the locals and newcomers. And since the study involves mainly water and sports, this will help showcase the dramatic manifestation of nature and an overview of Aquatic Architecture
