Abstract

The Catanauan archaeological anthropology museum project is an analysis initiative based on varied ethnographical relics from the municipality, an area of ancient civilization discovered. The cultural materials featured within the exhibit comprises of weapons, tools, musical instruments, clothing, and accessories among all others. It also offers protection of the cultural features of the discovered sentimentalize artifacts. Advancing basic archeological anthropology exploration within the Municipality of Catanauan, Quezon is a bridge to earlier studies within the Bondoc Peninsula and a place for further analysis which will eventually generate an honest proportional specimen of the archaeology of the whole Bondoc peninsula. This project will significantly contribute to the improvement of our knowledge in Catanauan's history. The interpretation of regional cultural history, and the development of an inheritance perception amongst the Catanauan communities. The project focuses on the first class municipality of Catanauan, a largely coastal community located at the western region of the Bondoc dry land. The town proper and away from the shoreline faces Mompog Pass and also the island of Marinduque to the north is that the municipality of Lopez to the northwest, boundary of the proper town of General Luna, Quezon and its northeastern boundary of the municipality of Buenavista. On the south and southeast is the municipality of Mulanay. As cited by the Philippine Census (2000) the town of Catanauan has a population of 57,736 people in 11,283 households
